Lojan Raddle for Flex Loom
The raddle is a useful tool for weavers who warp their loom from back to front. It ensures an even distribution of warp threads before they are wound onto the warp beam, helping to maintain consistent tension and tidy edges.
Our raddle is available in two versions:
• Metric (1 cm spacing)
• Imperial (1/2 inch spacing)
The raddle can be mounted in two positions on the Flex loom:
• Near the back beam
• Just above the shafts
Plastic cover strips are included with the raddle. These help to keep the threads in place during and after spreading.
This method is suitable for back to front warping: first you spread the threads using the raddle, then wind them onto the warp beam before threading the heddles and reed and tying on to the cloth beam.
