Lojan Inkle Loom
Our new inkle loom is almost ready. It can now be pre-ordered for delivery in September. After six iterations and many improvements thanks to the feedback from Marieke Kranenburg and several others, we are super proud of the final design. We’ve done our best to make this band loom versatile and user-friendly. Here are the key features:
- Suitable for both long and short bands Warp length up to 2.65 meters, but thanks to the adjustable bar, you can also weave a band of 1 meter.
- Sturdy extra-long bars 14 cm long, Ø25 mm beech bars for beautifully wide bands. The heddle rod is Ø18 mm and suitable for both hand-knotted and Texsolv heddles (160 mm, which we will also use for our table loom).
- Left-handed friendly Easy to assemble in mirror image.
- Perfect for tablet weaving With a removable rod, optional Card Weaving Board, and plenty of space between the starting rod and the second rod.
- Storage spot for your shuttle Keep your shuttle always at hand with the handy Velcro closure.
- Clip for multiple threads Super handy when setting up the loom.
- Caps Ensure your warp and heddles stay securely on the loom when advancing.
- Flat pack kit Comes with all necessary tools, including shuttle, caps, screwdriver, table clamp, and instructions.
